Capital One use verbal reasoning tests as part of their recruitment process to help them select the best candidates for a particular role. So as a graduate or senior candidate applying for a job at Capital One you might feel like the verbal reasoning test is an unnecessary hoop to jump through. Help with Capital One's Online Coding Assessment I'm applying for Capital One's year long software academy programme and have been assigned a 90 minute online coding assessment. This will be the first ever leetcode/hackerrank style coding assessment I've done and am very worried I don't have the skills to pass. (a): Capital One case interview questions are very math-intensive. You are often required to do some mental math about profitability, break-even points and show how you understand the content. So you would want to double your preparation in the math aspect of case interviews (out of the three aspects described here). Capital One is run very much like a consulting firm where decisions are made from data analytics. I have completed round 1 of the interview which consisted of an online test that contained questions similar to what you would find for the GMAT and a brief telephone interview answering behavioural type questions. The other link they provide is to the Capital One assessment test. Of note, they have practice tests on this link, as well. The practice tests are very short - like eight questions but gives you a much better idea of what to expect on the actual assessment test.

No, all verbal reasoning tests are certainly not the same. Every verbal reasoning test has a different structure, and you can’t necessarily prepare for one by studying another. The entire point in preparing for a verbal reasoning test is to familiarize yourself with the types of questions.

You can practise for this test by utilising the materials here at JobTestPrep.
