The new stock and forearm were made of the same hard plastic as the newer models and the pattern matched the barrel and receiver perfectly. I was told they did not try to replace with a duratouch stock because they have not figured out the cause of the sticky problem. The service by Freer and Browning/Winchester was worth the 8 month wait.
